Jacob's 6th Birthday

Army Party
The boys all painted their faces and we had army challenges. One of those challenges was tug-o-war. The boys beat Mark!!! I bet he didn't want me to say that!

Grandma Brink came to visit.
We had a lot of fun getting ready for Halloween. She got all sorts of decorations and we made spider cupcakes. We also went to Mark's Hockey game. The kids sure love Grandma.

Mark's Hockey Game

Just a nice day. Thought I would take some pictures of the kids.

Jacob : Dolphin Award
Each month Jacob's school has a value and one child from each grade is recognized for displaying that value. October was Kindness. Jacob's teacher nominated him she said "Jacob is a great example of kindness. He uses kind words and is a good friends to those in our class." He got his picture with the Principal.
We are so proud of him.

Iree's First Day of Pre-school
Her teacher is Mrs. Holly
I was expecting to stay a while so she could get used to the class but as soon as we arrived she said "Mom, this is my school you have to go." I took a few pictures and left. She loves it. Mrs Holly says she is quiet but follows direction well.

Mark and Mason's Birthday
Mason wanted to touch the candle. He loved the cake. Mason got a riding tigger and Mark got some high powered toothbrushes (so exciting).

I have a kid in Kindergarten !!!
This is Jacob's first day of school. His teacher is Mrs. Collins
He loves school.

Iree's 3rd Birthday

She woke up to princess balloons and
streamers. We had her party in the mist of construction as we were finishing the basement of our old house... Our renters were moving in very soon. I neglected to take the camera. She had a pink cake and got a princess bike with training wheels.

Grandpa McNees Visits
We went to the Kennecott Copper Mine and watched the huge dump trucks. Just look at the size of that tire! The kids loved having Grandpa visit. He was lots of fun

The Kirby Family Reunion
2007

For our family reunion this summer we decided not to camp!! Our first stop was in Lava Hot Springs. We stayed in a "bungalow" it was a cute little house that fit us all. We soon found out there was no air conditioning and in the middle of the night the fire alarms went off constantly. At least it will be a fun memory!
After Lava Hot Springs we made our way to Yellowstone. We had a blast and I posted a lot of pictures so take a look.

We had a blast at the Lava Hot Springs Pool. Jacob spent the whole day going down the twist slide. Iree even went down the slide by herself.

Before heading to Yellowstone we spent the afternoon riding the rapids in Lava, Id.

Fun at the Hotel Pool.

Bear World
Bear World is in Idaho. You drive through the park and the animals are walking right next to your car. The kids couldn't believe a bear was that close. These are two grizzles fighting or playing. A wolf and a black bear seem to be friends. The moose was eating and some people were feeding the bears from a truck

Breakfast at a picnic spot in Yellowstone. It was foggy and beautiful.

Old Faithful, Hot Pots and a field of steam from hot springs.

We went on a beautiful hike to a waterfall. Coming up the stairs was an adventure. Jacob counted every step on the way up. I believe it was somewhere around 200.
