So it has been over 2 months since I last posted... lets just say...3 kids are a handful!
Well, I am so glad it is spring. We spend every minute outside. Visits to the parks and walks up to the lake happen every day. Jacob spends the whole day riding his bike, catching bugs with his two buddies, or building damns in the stream. Iree loves everything about being outside. She has so much energy and then crashes for bedtime. Mason just loves watching his brother and sister and is very content outside. Iree got to pick a tulip... she couldn't stop smelling it. I just hope I don't find all the others secretly missing.

Iree has so much fun playing with Mason and making sure he doesn't miss out on things like smelling the flowers.
We are so happy we can be outside. The spring days have been beautiful.

Mason is so ready to start chasing Iree around. Iree you better watch out!

We spent an afternoon at Great-Grandma & Grandpa Horton's house. The kids played with Lincoln logs, puzzles, and shagged golf balls for Grandpa. We also had red punch... note the mustache on Jacob.

This is a warm day in March. We spent the whole day on walks, at the playground or sitting in the front yard watching the kids ride bikes. Mason loved feeling the grass for the first time.

Mark's nose has a way of putting Mason to sleep. He always grabs for Mark's nose and won't let go. I guess each child has their own little quirks.

In February we went swimming before Brogan's birthday party. Jacob and Parker always have a good time. Mark and Iree stayed in the warm kiddy pool the entire time.

What can I say... Just my cute kids!!!

Just a few pictures of Mason and a rare one of me, I usually like to take the pictures.

Mark plays hockey every Saturday. The kids love watching and I love to get out of the house. Jacob actually watches and comments on plays(he is so mark) Iree usually sits right by me and asks for treats the whole game. He has made 4 goals this season!

Iree's First Snowman. She was so excited. She held the carrot and watched while Jacob and I rolled the balls of snow.

We had a wonderful Christmas we hope you did also. The kids woke up at seven o'clock to see what Santa left for them. Luckily there were no stockings filled with coal.

Christmas Morning :
Jacob got a big bike he was so excited. We went outside to have him ride and his feet couldn't touch the ground. His first ride landed him face down in the snow. Hopefully his legs will grow a few inches before summer.
Iree got a Dora helmet and a pink tricycle with a bucket for her babies to ride in.

Mason got a jumper. (Mostly a gift for mom) Notice Dora going for a ride behind him.

Before the kids went to sleep on Christmas Eve we layed out a plate with cookies and carrots for Santa and his Reindeer, then Mark read the Christmas story to the kids. Iree didn't make it, she fell asleep a little early.

The family and cousins had a blast sleding before the family Christmas party. Iree and Kathryn made a great team.

Mark is a dedicated Bronco fan therefore the kids are Bronco fans. Jacob proclaims to everyone his support for "the best team." His friend Spencer is a BYU fan, the two of them are in a constant battle over who is the better team. They don't quite get the difference of NFL verses College.

Iree's first real hair cut took off about 6 inches. Her older brother "accidentallly" snipped off a chunk so I decided to let the rest go.

Our visit to see Santa was fun. Jacob was excited and couldn't wait to ask Santa for a football. Iree was excited until she saw him walk up and sit on his chair. She was clinging to Mark and not going to sit with him. Then Santa said in a deep voice, "Ireland come and get your candy cane." she left Mark's arms and went to sit on Santa's lap. She still wasn't sold on the idea but at least we got our picture.

Mason Gabriel McNees

Blessed on Dec. 3, 2006

Mason was blessed at church by Mark this past Sunday. He was a little agitated just before the blessing . We thought he was going to scream all the way through it but he didn't make a sound. He is three months now and becoming more aware and fun every day.

For Thanksgiving this year we had some visitors. Mark's mom Linda, her dog Jax, Jen and Elijah and their baby Vaughn. (Jen is Mark's sister.) We had a blast. Iree was so thrilled to have a dog and a one-year-old to boss around. They arrived at 4:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving... (that was just the beginning on the whole groups sleepyness.) Every night we stayed up super late talking and hanging out. The last night we went to bed just before 3:00. It was so worth it. We loved the visit and the chance for the cousins to play together.

SideNote: It is Thanksgiving but the powerranger is still around! I will give a highfive to the first person who can find 3 powerrangers in the picture...

Iree is helping me make the veggie tray. She loves broccoli and decided to take a few big bites. Grandma is helping a lot by feeding Mason his bottle.

The Park is always fun with Grandma. Grandma is with Vaughn on the swing. Iree is peeking through the porthole on the playground. We couldn't stay long it was starting to get super cold.

We went on a nice walk around the lake. Iree and Jacob "took turns" walking Jax.
