It's Stuck!!!

Iree was putting the little pet hamster on grandpa's head and the wheels got caught in his hair. I tried to tug it out but I could tell it was hurting him.

Grandma ended up cutting it out... No more sticking the hamster in hair... I'm just glad we didn't have to give Iree a buzz.

Picking cherries at Grandpa's...

Jacob, Iree and Mason picked a whole bucket full of cherries. I am surprised we didn't end up with any upset stomachs because they ate so many... They love picking anything at Grandpa's.

Picking raspberries with Grandma... They never make it to the basket!

Picking peas and carrots with Grandpa... He always has the best garden around.

Mason was so proud of this carrot... he ate 3 whole ones and we had to tell him to stop when he started eating green... he would have eaten the whole thing.

Heidi had to use sparklers for the candles. Always fun to get together, talk and laugh.

4th of July

BBQ and Basketball at the Farnworth's then swimming at the Manwaring's pool... what a great day.

Home fireworks were great this year... 5 huge family packs makes for a pretty good show.

Lake Powell Adventures

We took off to Lake Powell for a whole week of camping, sleeping, cooking, eating, and of course playing on our boat. We had some crazy adventures and learning experiences and as always a ton of fun. I couldn't pick just a few pictures so I posted all my favorites. Enjoy!

Hole in the Rock.... amazing.... pioneers lowered horses and wagons down this canyon.

My favorite canyon... Clear Creek in the Escalate ...beautiful!!!

This houseboat is camped on the Cathedral in the Deseret... We were at this same spot 1 1/2 months earlier and the water was 20 feet lower. Heather and I hiked behind and saw the most amazing site.

Soft sand, people playing bochi ball in the shade of the canyons, and a waterfall and pool. The people said their are six of these pools... Favorite spot... maybe we will camp here next time.

We met up with some friends from California in the San Juan. They had a ton of fun toys and we had a blast jumping, balancing, and running through obsticle courses.

Our home for 8 days... Sleeps 7 , kitchen (coolers), no bathroom... port-a- potty behind the big bush!

Iree was so brave and loved the surfing... she kept asking to go again... I think we sold her on the sport.

Mace wasn't as excited but he did it and loves seeing the picture of him out on the board.

Claire Forever!

Todd and Anna had a big week. Claire's adoption was official last week and this weekend they took her to the temple to be sealed to their family for Time and All Eternity. Such a special day, It made me reflect on the day that Jacob was sealed to Mark and I. It was so precious seeing this awesome, cute family in white.

That evening there were fireworks for Claire... well Springville Art City Days happened to be the same day but we like to think they were for Claire.
