Iree and Mason

Iree asks all day if she can hold Mason. She is a great big sister helping mom get diapers and blankets. She also can through a tantrum like no one else. She is definitely our little princess. Mason loves watching Iree and smiling.

Mark plays hockey every Saturday night. The kids love going to his games, especially when he ends up in the penalty box so they can go and say "hi" to him. After his game we went ice skating at the Olymic Oval. Jacob is becoming a pro... and Iree sure gave our backs a workout.

Halloween was a blast. Jacob was ready for this day for a whole year. Like most 5 year old boys Halloween is one of his favorite days. Jacob picked out his costume a couple of weeks before and insisted on wearing it everyday. Iree had a choice of three; her princess dress with all the acceseries I bought the day before, the cookiemonster costume Jacob wore for two years or the bumble bee she wore last year. She finally decided on the bumble bee 10 minutes before leaving. Mason didn't have a choice. We just had him wear his "little pumpkin" outfit all day. They both filled their buckets after walking only 3 blocks and back. Following Halloween the power ranger costume finds its way on to Jacob daily.

Jacob played on his first baseball team this fall, The NY Mets. He was so excited and SERIOUS (he gets that from dad) about every game. He thought it was the Major Leagues. He had a blast with his two buddies Spencer and Nash. These three are inseperable.

This is our first family picture with Mason. He was 3 weeks old. Mark had the auto snap set up on the camera. It took a few tries before all of us were smiling and looking at the camera. This is also my first attempt at wearing anything other than sweat pants. Yes, next picture Mark will take his glasses off.

I thought this might be an easier way to share photos and keep family and friends updated with our growing family. I love taking pictures but they are no good if I am the only one enjoying them. My plan is to update the blog weekly. I would love feedback.
Here we go!
